Sharon was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer the day before Thanksgiving 2001. The next 9 months were tough, with the chemo and then radiation, along with the 7 ½ hour surgery in March 2002 (the Doctors at UCLA felt it was better to start aggressive chemo first, as the tumor was the size of a golf ball).

Sharon has just past the 5 year mark of being cancer free. We are extremely happy to hear that Kyle has also been given the great news from her doctors. Through God, miracles do happen.

Sharon and I, and our children have participated in cancer walks ever year since her diagnosis, and we will always be involved in one way or another. This is just another way in which we are happy to contribute. We only wish we were able to contribute to "Project Touched" sooner.
